Maile Limosnero

I am a junior at NYU Stern pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s degree in accounting. Although my studies focus on finance and accounting, my larger ambition lies in the real estate industry. Shanghai, one of the world’s most dynamic, fast-growing, and architecturally visionary cities, felt like the ideal place to immerse myself in that interest.

During my time in Shanghai, I wanted to go beyond the classroom and engage meaningfully with the city and its innovation landscape. That led me to apply to the NYU Shanghai Creativity + Innovation Fellowship, a platform that encourages students to explore impactful ideas in a global context. Through this fellowship, I am examining how the United States and China can mutually advance their real estate sectors through a cross-border proptech accelerator, SinoUS PropTech, an initiative focused on creating shared value through technology, collaboration, and forward-looking development.
